History of SAMGANG TAVERN
As a traditional tavern of the late Joseon Dynasty (around 1900), this is the last Tavern remaining along the Nakdong River of approximately 275km. Though it is a small scale one, its historic and cultural value is so high with atchitectural scarcity of well-planned design with functional consideration, reflecting phases of those good old days. Moreover, you may notice the charge account books on the wall in the kitchen, marking number of makgeolli kettles with chopsticks by the elderly barmaid of illiteracy.
